Kurumba, Maldives. 1972, guess what happened?

Tired after a long journey, but happy to be back. I would have loved to be with the first italian diving group, 1972. The very first maldivian tourists.

Tourism started here in Kurumba in 1972. the only thing to eat was coconuts and tuna. Tuna sashimi is one of my favourites.
  
Kurumba offers good snorkelling, a plentitude of fish but not the best corals. the proximity to Male, major island and capital, creates a village like atmosphere.
    
All rooms and villas have their own sundbeds and spot to the sea
