Bathing in Bangkok III

Siam Kempinski, Bangkok

Bangkok’s Siam Kempinski Hotel hosts an oasis of a resort style pool – and is the only Bangkok city hotel offering swim-out-rooms.   http://www.kempinski.com

This means that the kids, and yourself, may head out for 2 025 square meters water adventures and landscaped gardens, without even leaving the room. Or rather, not leaving the room by the entrance door.

Hence, indulge yourself into one of the room types offering direct access to the pool from the in room private terrace: Cabana Room or Duplex Cabana. Or sit back and relax on your terrace or balcony, listening to the sound of the birds singing.

The pool access rooms do come in a limited number and are booked up fast, so make a reservation long in advance.

The lobby entrance is about as grand as it may get in Bangkok. Only disadvantage: occational outbursts from screaming children do get a “loud speaker” effect in the lobby.

The numerous, in some cases, award-winning, restaurants, bars and facilities keep the whole family busy, not forgetting the swimming pools and garden.

Siam Kempinski’s location couldn’t get much better, directly linked to Siam Paragon Shopping Mall and the BTS Skytrain.
