Just to cheer you up before Monday working week starts again, I send some flowers.

Seychelles, Praslin island, and the sea coconut, coco de mer, or double coconut, with it’s male ‘phallos’ with the small flowers and female double nut, is endemic, i.e. can only be found in the islands of Praslin and Curieuse in the Seychelles.

Lanzarothe, Canary islands, Spain, has a nice part called Costa Blanca with a very long beach walk where everyone walks, talks, runs and bikes and where I found those hibiskus flowers at Princesa Yaiza hotel.

Another hibiskus flower from Banyan Tree hotel in Mahe, Seychelles

Tanzania, Africa is one of the major suppliers of roses, those I found in Arusha , Arusha Coffee Lodge.

African red tulip flowers, or is it African Flame Tree? Found in the garden of my daughters best friend in Dar Es Salaam, dear Elsa.

Menorca, a pastoral and very lush mediterranian dream with a favourite ex farmhouse hotel called Torralbenc, really a superb and serene place with bougainvillea, figues and many more flowers.

Geraniums in our Swedish country cottage

Unknown, but obviuosly proud, alp flower in the gasteiner valley, Austria.

Edelweiss, also from the Gasteiner valley, Austria.

Irresistible flower bouquet surveilled by the Queen of England, in the library of Ham Yard Hotel, Soho, London

Gullviva, cowslick, flowering in the aechipellago of Stockholm, Sweden.
