Oh what a pleasure to be back in the Southern parts of France: Provence. Right now visiting my old friend Ulla, a photographer who now lives permanently in the area with her husband, not far from Fayence in the Var. Fayence is part of what is called the five villages: Fayence, Seillans, Montauroux, Callian and Tourettes. All beautiful, especially Seillans where I will spend the night #hoteldeuxrocs.
We have been visiting small wine makers (lovely Val d’Iris) and the tiny vinegar producer Le Clos Saint Antoine, the olive oil producer Moulin de Callas, the farmers market in Callian and restaurants.
And oh, I almost forgot the tiny Bed and Breakfast in Montauroux owned by the rock legend Sebastian Smith and his wife, at no 10 rue de l’Eglise.
But best of all was my breakfast egg at Ulla’s home, freshly produced by good old Hönapöna. #atoutfrance #paysdefayence #lottiesworld
