Verbier, Switzerland
The common theme at all W hotel’s is – quote – “bold, energetic, unforgettable and always cutting-edge”.
On top of this, every W reflects the look and feel of its destination.
In the case of W Verbier, this combines a woody chalet-style and fire places with smart art; alpine cows and reindeer statues in psychedelic colours – and we are talking real size animals now.
What I really like is the ski in ski out concept wintertime. You literally ski right down to the entrance of W Verbier.
And summertime, the same area is transformed in to a beach (!) with white sand, palm trees and sunbeds.
The W combination of design, art and fashion is of course not complete without music; often live here in Verbier. No need to mention a state of the art spa, swimming pool area, bars and restaurants.
My room was indeed both cleverly designed and jam packed with classy amenities and a hyper comfortable bed.
What a lovely flag.
Now, my skiing is really – contrary to my love for alpine walks -not at any great levels, but at least I know Where to fix it, with W.
